Put your school on your Lock Screen, your keyboard and your messages. If something isn't
working, a real person answers at my2thumbz@gmail.com.
Open College Central and pick your school: Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Duke, Florida, Florida
State, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oregon, Texas or UNC.
To switch later, tap the switch-school button at the top of the Themes tab.
1. Set a live wallpaper
iPhone
In College Central, open a wallpaper and tap Save wallpaper. If your phone
asks to let College Central add to your Photos, tap Allow.
Open the Photos app. The wallpaper is your newest photo, at the very bottom
of your library. Tap it.
Tap the Share button: the square with an arrow pointing up, in the
bottom-left corner of the screen.
Scroll down the list that slides up and tap Use as Wallpaper.
Look at the bottom-left corner. The LIVE button must be on (not crossed
out). Tap it if it is off.
Tap Add at the top-right, then Set as Wallpaper Pair.
Lock your phone, then wake it: the wallpaper plays.
Home Screen blurry? iPhone blurs the Home Screen copy so your app icons are
easier to read. To make it sharp: touch and hold the Lock Screen, tap
Customize, choose the Home Screen, tap Blur at the bottom to
turn it off, then tap Done. The wallpaper moves on the Lock Screen only.
Android
In College Central, open a wallpaper and tap Set wallpaper.
Choose Home screen, Lock screen or Both.
Done: it loops on your screen.
2. Turn on your college keyboard
iPhone
In College Central, open a keyboard and tap Use this keyboard. The skin
downloads.
Tap Open Settings. On the page that opens, tap Keyboards,
then turn on the College Central switch. Leave Allow Full
Access off: the keyboard does not need it.
Open Messages, or any app where you type, and tap in the text box so the keyboard
appears.
Touch and hold the globe key at the bottom-left of the keyboard. A list of
keyboards pops up: tap College Central.
That is it. Touch and hold the globe key any time you want to switch keyboards.
Why no Full Access? Without it, iPhone keeps the keyboard off the internet
completely, so nothing you type can leave your phone. College Central never asks for it.
Android
In College Central, open a keyboard and tap Use this keyboard. The skin
downloads.
Tap Open keyboard settings, turn on College Central, and
tap OK on the warning.
Back in the app, tap Choose College Central and pick it from the list.
To change keyboards later, tap the keyboard icon at the bottom-right of your screen.
3. Send stickers
iPhone (in Messages)
In College Central, open the Stickers tab and tap Add stickers to
Messages. Wait until it says the stickers are ready.
Open Messages and a conversation. Tap the + button to the left of the
message box.
A list of apps slides up. Swipe up the list and tap College Central. (On
iPhone the stickers are not on the keyboard, and they are not under Stickers.)
Tap a sticker to add it to your message, then send it.
Android (on your keyboard)
Open your College Central keyboard in any chat.
Tap your school's logo on the bottom row, next to the space bar.
Tap a sticker to send it.
4. Premium
Every school has a free wallpaper, a free keyboard and free stickers. Premium unlocks every
wallpaper, keyboard and sticker, for every school. It is a monthly or yearly subscription;
the price for your country shows in the app before you buy.
Subscribed to College Central before?
Your subscription carries over to this version. The app finds it the first time you open it.
If Premium doesn't show as active, open Get Premium and tap Restore
purchases, signed in with the Apple Account you subscribed with.
New phone, or reinstalled the app
Open Get Premium and tap Restore purchases.
Cancel or change your plan
iPhone: open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions,
then College Central.
Android: open the Play Store, tap your profile picture, tap
Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the
current period. After you cancel you keep Premium until the end of the period you paid for.
Then premium keyboards and stickers switch back to the free ones; anything free stays yours.
5. Troubleshooting
My wallpaper isn't moving.
On iPhone, make sure the LIVE button was on when you added it, and that Low Power Mode
and Reduce Motion are off. The wallpaper plays each time you wake the phone; it stays still
while the phone is unlocked.
I can't find College Central in Messages.
Open College Central first and tap Add stickers to Messages on the
Stickers tab. Then in Messages tap + and swipe up the list of apps;
College Central is near the bottom.
The keyboard isn't in the list when I hold the globe key.
Open Settings, tap General, Keyboard,
Keyboards, then Add New Keyboard and choose
College Central.
A premium item says Premium could not be confirmed.
Check you're connected to the internet, then open Get Premium and tap
Restore purchases. If it still won't download, email us.
I don't see new designs.
New designs arrive without an app update. Close College Central completely and open it
again.
